KLAVIATURA 2

As a leader in proleterian tech MM is releasing the second incarnation of Klaviatura destined to our communist youth and adults to improve our musical culture. It is well suited for all of our avant-garde practices like synth-punk, electroclash, etc. but also to create big hits and anthems for the masses.

Klaviatura 2 is now Two track Keyboard/Arppegiator - 64 step Sequencer.

Features:

Two independent voice's controls in one module — each with its own CV/Gate output working in parallel:

• Track A — live-played keyboard or arpeggiator

• Track B — 64-step step sequencer

Track A — Keyboard & Arpeggiator

• Play the 12 keys like a keyboard, last-note priority

• Arpeggiator: 9 types (Up, Down, Up-Down, Down-Up, Converge, Diverge, Thumb, Random, As Played), 1 to 4 octaves range

• Latch: freezes the chord, the arp keeps running without your fingers

• Rhythmic figures: 8 patterns that repeat, skip or space out notes (Straight, Double, Gallop, Syncopation, Tresillo, Echo, Pump, Random)

• Latched transpose: change the arp's key in one gesture

Track B — Sequencer

• Record patterns up to 64 steps (notes, rests, ties)

• 12 memory slots — instant recall, copy between slots

• Play over it: a key takes over the output live, the sequence keeps advancing silently and resumes on release

• Transform playback: direction (forward/reverse/ping-pong/random), octave, latched transpose

• Quantization: the selected scale filters the output — stored steps stay chromatic, but playback never leaves the scale

• Slide: portamento between notes (off, short, long)

• Swing: groove on the master clock (off, 54%, 58%, 62%)

Breaks & variations (Mutate)

Three momentary effects, active while the key is held, automatic return to the original sequence:

• THIN — ~33% of notes dropped (downbeat always stays)

• STUTTER — current step stutters, then moves on

• REVERSE — sequence plays backwards

Rhythm & articulation (per track, independent)

• Division: 1/16, 1/8, 1/4

• Gate length: 10% to 90% (staccato to legato)

Scales

7 scales per track: Chromatic, Major, Minor, Major Pentatonic, Minor Pentatonic, Blues, Dorian

CV input

• External transpose: an LFO or external keyboard transposes the active track (±2 octaves, semitone-quantized)

• CV Lock: locks the input to one track — the bass follows the LFO while you play the other freely

Clock

• Clock Out with selectable clock divider 4/8/16th notes (1/16) — syncs other modules

• Swing affects the arp, the sequencer AND the clock

Memory

• 12 patterns saved, reloaded at power-up

• 12 factory preset patterns (you'll replace them with your own sequences)

• Almost all functions-commands are printed on the front serving as reminders - you'll barely need the manual :)
